ADA Update
Date: September 9, 2021
Time: 9am to 12
This will cover the whole ADA process from start to finish and will highlight key issues that are difficult to maneuver through, such as prescription drug use and mental disabilities.

Supervisor Training for Managers, HR Specialists and Leaders Who Enforce Policies
This will cover the key elements needed to make sure front line supervisors, managers, business owners, and HR personnel know and understand basic employment law concepts. This training covers a discrimination update and overview, hiring best practices and pitfalls, the importance of performance review and documenting discipline, and knowing and complying with the ADA from start to finish.

The Post-COVID Workplace: Focus on the Fundamentals
This will be both an update on recent anti-harassment and anti-discrimination issues and will also train the attendees on how to update their anti-harassment/anti-discrimination training so they can maintain compliance with EEOC training recommendations.

Welcome to the Idaho Employment Lawyers & IDEA Academy JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes Page! IEL is riding because not only do we support our Type 1 family and friends, but we also as a company believe in empowering employers to know the rights and implement the rules of the ADA for all that fall into the category and need the support of the employers. We are here to train your companies and employer training staff, HR and Leaders so they can train all staff in proper and equal treatment of all including anti-harassment and anti- discrimination policies. All people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives, starting with diabetes. We are committed to providing our clients with the support, training, and tools they need to manage their employees and we stand with JDRF in their mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
Did you know T1D: Pam’s daughter, Kennedy, has had Type I since she was five years old. Her family has learned through ten years of experience how complicated this disease is and how a person with Type I can go from feeling good to experiencing life-threatening complications in a matter of minutes. We are dedicated to help her, and others with Type I, find a cure.
Type I:
Is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas stops producing insulin – the hormone that controls blood sugar levels.
Strikes children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
Requires constant carb counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on insulin.
Is a constant balancing act that results in stress and sleepless nights.
There is no way to prevent T1D and there is no cure – yet. But JDRF is working hard to change that.
Every dollar you donate to our team page funds research for breakthroughs to help everyone with T1D live healthier and longer, until this disease no longer exists.
